When we are faced with an enemy, a person or group of people wishing to do us harm, we can view this as an opportunity to develop patience and tolerance. We need these qualities; they are useful to us. And the only occasion we have to develop them is when we are challenged by an enemy. So, from this point of view, our enemy is our guru, or teacher. Irrespective of their motivation, from our point of view, enemies are very beneficial, a blessing.— His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, An Open Heart (2001)

Where is it written that the best that can be said of massively multi-player online games, psychologically, socially, morally, is that old saw catharsis; That, at best, MMOs offer pre-emptive release in play of emotions and ill-considered impulses fraught with danger to self and others in so-called “real life”? Better kill here, than kill there.

eveonline

Not hard to guess. There’s hardly a MMO in which Sisters of the Forsaken has not left at least a footprint, including EveOnline. Mostly lying low in New Eden, except for periods of activity, we’re awaiting the seemingly ever-receding day when Walking in Stations (WiS) becomes a reality and we can meet and greet incarnated in what are undoutedly the finest avatars currently in existence.

If you have never tried EveOnline, even if you are convinced you’d never commit to its predominant atmosphere of stunted adolescent testosterone, signing up for a free two week trial is well worth your time just to play with the incredible Eve character creator. Create, image capture, and suicide to your heart’s content.

If the sun never rises on Eve WiS, you can count on seeing us in Star Citizen.

Sisters of the Forsaken: A Harem Guild of Age of Conan
Formerly of Bane, now on Cimmeria – RP-PvP

Sisters, We Are All Forsaken!

Resolve to follow the most difficult,
narrow paths of peace in lands at war.

Respect strangers.
Honor the superior.
Seduce the hostile.
Serve the Sisterhood.

Slaughter without mercy
All who prey upon the weak!

Video Notes: This captured entirely in the infamously buggy Treasury of the Ancients in Khopsef Province, where Tzuzeku found herself dancing fearlessly with the deadly “boss” of the Treasury, the Archaic Queen Statue, and her mysteriously conjured evil twin.

The Black Arts of the Necromancer by which Tzuzeku subdued the otherwise lethal Archaic Queen Statue of Treasury of the Ancients, summoned forth her evil twin, and induced the awesome pair to dance in her presence remain secrets Madam Tzuzeku will take to her grave.
