Ok, so I could not resist the Black Friday White Camel. It came down to the fact that the other beasts just don’t appeal to me. And my avatars like towering over most everyone in the saddle.

These micro-transaction games are insidious. Once upon a time, the amount of money I’m willing to spend on MMO character vanity would have appalled me. But after a handful of years in Second Life, where Vanity is ALL, everything game companies want to throw at me in MMOs seems inexpensive.
